Bands in the Park | A. W. Parker (Drybrook) Band

The 'Bands in the Park' series of weekly concerts is held at Ross-on-Wye Bandstand between May and August, featuring many brass bands from the Forest of Dean and South Wales.

The A. W. Parker (Drybrook) Band are currently charged by Ross Town Council with organising the programme of performers, having won the three-year contract for 2021-2023 and again for 2024-2026. The weekly concerts are always very well attended and the Bandstand, located beside the Wye in a wide open space, is an enjoyable place to perform and a firm favourite for many bands.

Bands in the Park 2022

The 2022 series of concerts was a great success. Many thanks to all of the bands who took part, to Ross Town Council for the funding the events and to members of the band who helped organise the series and undertake weekly setup duties! We're already looking forward to 2023!

We are proud to have our own purpose-built Band Room with rehearsal space, storage and kitchen facilities, thanks to the efforts of past members.

REHEARSALS

The band rehearses twice a week at our Band Room in Drybrook. If you fancy a blow, please get in touch to arrange to join us.
