GBBA Own Choice Contest @ Ross-on-Wye / November 2014

Music: "Army of the Nile" by Kenneth Alford, "Cloudcatcher Fells" by John McCabe.

Conductor: Josh Ruck.

Section: Second & Third Section (Section B).

Result: 1st in Test Piece contest and 2nd in March contest (from 6). Best Horn Section, Best Bass Section and Best Flugel Player in All Sections.



WBBA Own Choice Contest @ Bournemouth / November 2014

Music: "Army of the Nile" by Kenneth Alford, "Cloudcatcher Fells" by John McCabe.

Section: Open Format.

Result: 1st in Test Piece contest (from 18) and 3rd in March contest (from 13). Best Bass Section and Best Conductor.

Result: 1st (from 12) - INVITATION TO 2015 WELSH OPEN. Most Entertaining Stage Presentation & Best Solo Instrumentalist on the Day (Steve Ruck).

We are proud to have our own purpose-built Band Room with rehearsal space, storage and kitchen facilities, thanks to the efforts of past members.

REHEARSALS

The band rehearses twice a week at our Band Room in Drybrook. If you fancy a blow, please get in touch to arrange to join us.
